Taylor's & Company 1858 Remington Conversion 1000
This versatile firearm provides for an easy transition from blackpowder to centerfire cartridges. The gun's original frames were dovetailed to allow the ejector assembly to slide into place. A loading-lever screw, passing through from the left side of the frame, secures the ejector assembly. A small notch cut into the loading lever creates a rest for the L-shaped tip of the ejector rod. The firearm is steel with steel backstrap and brass trigger guard.
