Texas Jack (Mike) Harvey took grip frames and dimensions from three classic Colt revolvers, the 1878 DA, the 1877 Colt Thunderer DA and the 1st generation 1873 SAA features from these three grips were combined into the grip frame of the new Thunderer. One piece walnut grip. Forged Old Model color case hardened frame. Blued finish.
