I bought this gun for long range shooting but quickly traded it for something that came fully equipped for what I needed at the time with a scope mounted and all the accessories that I required so while I can't give a glowing review of this rifle because

what a tack driver! shoots well for myself, my wife, and my son. in fact i just bought another in 6.5 creedmoor. even better with a boyds gun stock!

Great gun. It feels good, handles good and shoots better than any rifle I've ever owned. I own an older vanguard and while it is a great rifle, it doesn't compare to the S2. I'm getting 1/2" groups at 100 yards using Hornady American Whitetail 139grn ammu

Finally got to break in and sight in my Weatherby .308 carbine that I bought a month ago. I put about fifty rounds down range and the last three at 100 yds.fit behind a dime. This is my fourteenth Weatherby rifle and just as always, I am more than pleased
