About Troy Pump Action Sporting

Troy's Sporting Rifle has an innovative design featuring a Troy Alpha-style handguard with a full length top rail and integrated pump action, affording supreme accuracy in a practically recoiless system. Rail covers are included. The stock and receivers are made from billet machined aluminum and have M4 feed ramps. The receivers, stock, and rail have a Mil-Spec hardcoat anodized finish. The folding stock is adjustable for either right or left side fold, and telescopes in five length positions. It is just 26.25" when folded. The 16" barrel is melonite-lined in and out, and has a double chamber muzzle brake. The PAR also has a Troy BattleAx control grip, and folding front (M4 Tritium) and rear BattleSights. Troy's Sporting Rifle is the premier choice for discerning hunters and sportsmen, and is compliant in areas where legal ownership of standard, semi-automatic rifles have been legislatively limited.

Detailed Review

Troy Pump Action Sporting is a popular choice for hunters, sport shooters, and enthusiasts alike. These shotguns are designed to perform reliably in various conditions and offer a range of features that make them versatile and user-friendly.

The first thing you'll notice about Troy pump action shotguns is their sleek design. The receivers are milled from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, which gives them exceptional durability while keeping weight to a minimum. The barrels are also made from high-quality materials, such as chrome-moly steel or stainless steel, depending on the model.

One of the key selling points of Troy pump action shotguns is their smooth action. The pumps are designed to cycle cleanly and consistently, which reduces recoil and allows for quick follow-up shots. This makes them ideal for hunting or shooting sports where speed and accuracy are crucial.

Another advantage of Troy pump action shotguns is their versatility. They offer a range of configurations and options to suit your specific needs. For example, you can choose between different barrel lengths and chokes, or opt for a model with a rail or ghost ring sights to improve your accuracy.

One popular option for Troy pump action shotguns is the ability to interchange barrels. This allows you to switch between different lengths and calibers, giving you more flexibility when it comes to hunting or shooting activities. It also makes it easier to maintain your firearm, as you can replace a damaged barrel rather than having to buy a whole new gun.

Troy pump action shotguns also come with a range of accessories to enhance your experience. These may include sling attachments, magazine extensions, or forend grips to improve your grip and control over the shotgun. Many models also feature adjustable stocks or recoil pads to help reduce recoil and improve your shooting comfort.

In conclusion, Troy pump action sporting shotguns are a reliable and versatile option for anyone looking to hunt or participate in shooting sports. With their durable construction, smooth action, and range of options and accessories, they are a great investment for any shooting enthusiast.

Shot it today for the first time, 50 rounds...the M4 feed ramps needed smoothing, their roughness caused serval Failure to Feed (FTF). You need to rack the forend with authority, otherwise you will again have a FTF - this may smooth in time. The Mil-Spec

Received 2nd generation of rifle. Picture on Bud’s is 1st generation. This is a well built rifle, however it only comes with one year warranty from Troy. I would highly recommend getting the life time warranty from Bud’s.

I do not live in a state that restricts me from owning a true AR but I did feel this would make a simple and reliable backup to one with it's familiar controls and ability to accept standard AR magazines. Any failure to feed or extract would be due to ope
