About Traditions Vortek StrikerFire R561140NS
The innovative Traditions Vortek StrikerFire Muzzleloader has taken away the external hammer, instead using an internal StrikerFire system for lighter weight, faster cocking and the ability to mount the scope closer to the bore. To cock the gun, simply push the striker button forward until it locks. Automatic decocking mechanism decocks gun when it is opened. Super-lightweight at just 6.25 lbs., the rugged and reliable LT-1 alloy frame sports a durable, weather-resistant Premium Cerakote finish and is mated to a 28" ultralight chromoly tapered fluted barrel. Creep-free, competition-style two-stage TAC2™ Trigger is factory set at 2 lbs. A 1-in-28" rate of twist barrel results in outstanding accuracy with modern projectiles. Hogue® Comfort-Grip overmolding on the Monte Carlo-style stock ensures a firm grip in any weather conditions. Stow-N-Go removable butt pad for storage inside the stock. Extended ambidextrous hammer extension. Solid-aluminum ramrod with Quick-T ramrod handle functions as a palm saver and a T-handle bullet starter. Accelerator breech plug is easily removed by hand. Matte-black synthetic stock. Dual-safety system. Drilled and tapped for mounting a scope. 209 primer ignition.
