The internal StrikerFire system in Tradition's Vortek StrikerFire Muzzleloader replaces the external hammer for a fast-cocking muzzleloader – giving you the ability to mount your scope closer to the bore. To cock, the striker button slides forward until it locks, while a recessed button allows it to be easily de-cocked. Lightweight, rugged and reliable LT-1 alloy frame sports a durable, weather-resistant nitride-coated finish and is mated to a lightweight 28" chromoly tapered fluted barrel. Speed load system. Creep-free, competition-style two-stage TAC2™ Trigger is factory set at 2 lbs. A 1-in-28" rate of twist results in outstanding accuracy. Hogue® Comfort-Grip overmolding on the Monte Carlo-style stock ensures a firm grip in any weather conditions. Stow-N-Go removable butt pad for storage inside the stock. Extended ambidextrous hammer extension. Solid-aluminum ramrod with Quick-T ramrod handle functions as a palm saver and a T-handle bullet starter. Soft-touch synthetic camouflage stock. Accelerator breech plug is easily removed by hand. Dual safety system. 209 primer ignition. Includes a factory-installed and boresighted Nikon 3-9x40 Inline XR muzzleloader scope with calibrated BDC 300 rangefinding reticle for shots out to 300 yds., fully multicoated anti-reflective optics for optimum light transmission and maximum brightness, quick-focus eyepiece with generous and consistent 5" eye relief, hand-turn 1/4-MOA adjustments, spring-loaded zero-reset turrets and spot-on ballistic match technology.
