Detailed Review
Traditions Buckstalker is a versatile and reliable muzzleloader rifle that’s perfect for both hunting and target shooting. It’s a modern version of the traditional muzzleloader design, featuring a break-action design that allows for easy loading and cleaning.
The Buckstalker is available in both .50 and .54 caliber variations, giving hunters the option to choose the caliber that best suits their needs. The .50 caliber option is perfect for smaller game, while the .54 caliber is better suited for larger game such as elk or moose.
One of the standout features of the Buckstalker is its accuracy. The rifle is outfitted with a 24-inch fluted barrel with a 1:28 twist rate, which provides exceptional accuracy at distances of up to 200 yards. Additionally, the rifle comes with a fully-adjustable fiber optic sight, which provides a clear sight picture regardless of the lighting conditions.
The Buckstalker also features a lightweight and ergonomic design, making it easy to carry and shoot for extended periods. The rifle weighs just 6.5 pounds, which is incredibly light for a muzzleloader rifle. This makes it a great option for hunters who need to cover a lot of ground during their hunts.
The rifle is also incredibly easy to use. It features a simple break-action design, which allows the shooter to easily load and unload the rifle. The breech opens with a simple push of a button, allowing the shooter to quickly insert their powder and projectiles.
The Buckstalker also features a durable and reliable ignition system. It uses a 209 shotgun primer ignition system, which is known for its reliability and consistency. The system ensures that the rifle fires consistently, even in adverse weather conditions.
In addition to its impressive performance features, the Buckstalker also boasts a classic and timeless design. The rifle features a hardwood stock and blued barrel, giving it a traditional and elegant look. The stock is also checkered, providing a comfortable and secure grip for the shooter.
Overall, the Traditions Buckstalker is an excellent option for hunters and target shooters alike. Its accuracy, reliability, and ease of use make it a top choice for those in search of a high-quality muzzleloader rifle.

This rifle is simple to operate, and accurate. Right out of the box, I was able to dial in the scope with eight shots. First hunt was successful using this inexpensive, but "Spot On" muzzleloader. Very impressed as a first time black powder user

I killed my first deer ever with this muzzleloader which I had borrowed from my boyfriends father. I would love to have one of my own to use this year. I wouldn’t buy any other brand and highly recommend this to others. Definitely a dependable gun to use.
