Great shooter, but it is Very particular in what it likes. I spent and went thru several different types of ammo. The hornady match 168 ELD is all it likes. It will NOT shoot any other bullet weights or manufactured ammo. Not even another name of 168. It'

I have shot many different rifles, the heritage, quality & knowing how to use iron sites will find you with small groupings. At Camp Perry this is the rifle of choice by the best in the world.

This is the very best rifle you can buy. 762.51/.308cal. Went through bootcamp USMC with this rifle would recommend this if you want a rifle you can be proud to own.

This is a good basic loaded rifle. I average 1 1/2-2 inch groups at 100 yards with open sights. Up-grading with USGI parts may help a little. There is just something about the M1A. It just feels good. It is a great platform.

OK shooter Not a tack driver!
I bought this in match grade and scope mount was a gen3 and excellent scope. never would stay tight, and the the best I could get using match ammo was 2" groups. Not acceptable. Military Ammo 3" to 4" groups. Great looking and feel tho. If
