Detailed Review
The Savage Arms Mark II TR is a bolt-action rifle designed for precision shooting. The rifle features an ergonomic black synthetic stock with a beavertail forend that provides a secure grip, even in wet conditions.
The Mark II TR has a heavy, button-rifled barrel that is free-floating, meaning it is not attached to the stock. This allows the barrel to vibrate more freely, reducing the effects of shooter-induced harmonics on accuracy.
The rifle is chambered in .22 LR, making it suitable for small game hunting and target shooting. The rifle has a detachable box magazine that holds 5 rounds, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts so you can easily add an optic to improve accuracy.
The Savage Arms Mark II TR has a fully adjustable AccuTrigger system that allows the shooter to adjust the trigger pull weight between 1.5 - 6 lbs. This means you can fine-tune the trigger to your preference, improving accuracy and making the gun more comfortable to shoot.
The rifle has a 2-position safety and a bolt release that allows you to unload the rifle without having to chamber a round or cycle the bolt. The Mark II TR also has a heavy-duty steel recoil lug that provides stability and helps absorb recoil.
The Mark II TR is a highly accurate rifle that is well-suited for precision shooting. Whether you're looking to hunt small game or compete in rimfire shooting competitions, this rifle is a great option. Its durable construction and adjustable components make it a reliable choice for any shooter.

A fantastic rifle. Not going to go into all the features of the rifle, you can just search those. This rifle performs flawlessly. I only shoot out to 25 yards and there is only one hole in the target. Highly recommend.

March 28, 2017This is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned. It was also the rifle that made me fall in love with the accutrigger. Truly a one-hole gun at 50 yards, and not a ragged one either. Mine liked Wolf Match Target (but what doesn't?), but shoots everything
