About Savage Arms 220 Slug Gun 19641
The 220 Slug Gun is all you need on your next whitetail hunt if you live in a "slug state." As part of Savage's Specialty Series, it is a highly specialized bolt action shotgun that obsoletes the traditional shotgun with a rifled barrel. The 220 features AccuTrigger, a feature offering user-adjustable trigger pull, so there's no need for a gunsmith to modify it. AccuTrigger also provides a crisp, clean trigger pull, which enhances accuracy. The detachable box magazine and stainless steel barrel are set in a camouflage synthetic stock with cut checkering and swivel studs. It comes with an over-sized bolt handle and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

Ordered my Savage 220 on June 9th and it was at my FFL by the 13th. Arrived in perfect factory condition and as advertised. I topped it with a Nikon 3-14x44 scope. It touches holes at 100 yards. The accutrigger is phenomenal, action is as just as buttery

Very accurate gun! Works very well with Federal Trophy Copper 3" sabots. I shot 2 deer last year using this combination & they both fell over on impact. Impressive! You can't baby the bolt when you open and close it. You have to be aggressive with it. Oth
