Detailed Review

Savage Arms 12 F Class is a bolt-action rifle designed for competitive shooting. It has a heavy, stainless steel barrel that measures 30 inches in length, which provides excellent accuracy and reduces recoil. The barrel is also free-floating, meaning it does not touch the stock, which further improves accuracy.

The rifle features an adjustable AccuTrigger, which allows shooters to customize trigger pull weight to their preference. The AccuTrigger also helps prevent accidental discharges, as it requires pressure on the trigger blade and a lever to activate the firing pin.

The 12 F Class model has a laminate wood stock that is highly stable and resists warping due to temperature changes. The stock has a wide forend and an adjustable cheekpiece, which allows the shooter to obtain a comfortable and consistent shooting position. The stock also has a vented beavertail forend, which helps dissipate heat from the barrel during extended shooting sessions.

The rifle comes with a top-loading, four-round internal magazine that is detachable for easy loading and unloading. It also has a three-position safety that allows it to be unloaded with the safety engaged.

The 12 F Class is chambered in .308 Winchester, a popular round for long-range shooting competitions. The rifle has a muzzle brake that helps reduce recoil even further, making it more comfortable to shoot for extended periods of time.

The rifle's overall length is 50.5 inches and weighs 11 pounds, making it a bit hefty, but this weight is necessary for stability when shooting at long distances. It also has a Picatinny rail on the receiver, which allows for easy installation of optics.

In summary, the Savage Arms 12 F Class is a highly accurate and reliable rifle that is specifically designed for competitive shooting. Its heavy barrel, adjustable AccuTrigger, stable stock, and muzzle brake make it a comfortable and effective choice for long-range shooting competitions.

I will start with the good and end with the bad.rnThis rifle is truly amazing. My first five shot group was .157 MOA. I have never felt a better trigger on any rifle. After 75 rounds, every group has been under .400 MOA. I haven't even started to develop

Cannot beat these Savage model 12s for out of the box accuracy at a reasonable cost. This F class rifle has consistently done better than one-half MOA at 600 yards.
