I purchased this rifle from Buds in March of 2012. I’m not sure if savage is making them again, or if Buds found a few long lost rifles. My rifle came with a 20 moa base and no muzzle break. The stock is the best I have seen from savage. It is very solid.

Great rifle waited a month or 2 to mount my vortex pst. Realized the rail was a few degrees off and called savage customer service and the sent me a shipping label asap! Shot 40 rounds thru the rifle before i sent it back and it was a great shooting gun.

Th gun is awesome. Added all the goodies, badger rings , hawke scope, harris bi-pod. Didnt come with picatinny rail. Tried to contact buds multiple times through multiple ways and no response. Not happy about that.

Savage has a real winner here! Sub 1/2" groups out the box using hand loads. This is one of the most accurate out the box rifles I have ever experienced. I have been accused of being a Trigger Snob. ALL my firearms have had trigger work or trigger upgrade

Ordered this threw local ffl gun is absolute tack driver! Only problem scope holes on top were drilled crooked. Had to adjust windage way to one side to get zero. Awaiting a new or fixed gun. I guess every once in a while you get a bad egg.
