I give this rifle an A+++. I put a Nikon BDC scope on it. Action is very smooth. No hang-ups at all. 300+ milk jugs. Keep oil on the exterior though. It will get surface rust quick. Great rifle.

Really good rifle and excellent customer service from Ruger. Had a magazine issue right after getting it home. A quick email and 3 days later a new magazine was at the house. It's been flawless since then. Great shooter, accurate and comfortable.

This is the second Ruger American I have bought. While I haven't had the opportunity to shoot it yet, I can tell you that the first one I bought is exceptionally accurate when using Nossler ammunition. Easily sub MOA at 100 Yards. The stock isn't amazing
