Detailed Review
Pedersoli Traditional Hawken Percussion is a beautiful and reliable black powder rifle that is designed to provide shooters with an authentic hunting experience. It is inspired by the original design of the Hawken rifle, which was developed in the early 1800s by Samuel and Jacob Hawken, who were gunsmiths based in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Pedersoli Traditional Hawken Percussion rifle features a full-length walnut stock that is finely polished and fitted with brass hardware. The barrel is made of high-quality steel and measures 28 inches in length. The rifling twist rate is 1:48, which is well-suited for shooting conical bullets or round balls.
The rifle's lock mechanism is a traditional percussion system that uses a flintlock to ignite the powder. It also features double-set triggers that can be adjusted to provide a crisp and clean trigger pull.
The Pedersoli Traditional Hawken Percussion rifle is chambered in .50 caliber, which is a popular choice among black powder enthusiasts. The rifle is also quite accurate and easy to shoot, thanks to its well-crafted design and precise engineering.

November 11, 2015Great Muzzleloader for the Money
I bought the rifle in .54 caliber. It shot low out of the box but only needed minor adjustment to get a 1.5 inch grouping 1 inch high at 50 yards using 80 grains of Alliant MZ Black black powder substitute. Took it hunting for the MN Firearms Deer Season.

March 12, 2015Wow!
Being a PA Flintlock hunter I was always curious about shooting a percussion. I own several T/C's a couple Traditions and the Pedersoli Kentucky all .050 flint. I couldn't pass up a deal on the Hawken and now after shooting the .54, I'm glad I bought it.
