The Mossberg MVP Varmint 27729 is a versatile and reliable bolt-action rifle that is perfect for varmint hunting, long-range shooting, and target shooting. Built on the trusted Mossberg MVP platform, this rifle features a number of upgrades that make it even better suited for precision shooting.
The MVP Varmint 27729 is chambered in .308 Winchester and features a 24-inch fluted barrel with a 1:10 twist rate. The barrel is made from heavy profile carbon steel and is free-floating for enhanced accuracy. The rifle also comes equipped with a LBA adjustable trigger system, which allows the shooter to customize the trigger pull to their liking.
One of the standout features of the MVP Varmint 27729 is the adjustable stock. The rifle comes with a Magpul PRS Gen3 stock, which can be adjusted for length of pull and cheek height. This allows the shooter to get a comfortable and consistent cheek weld, which is essential for precision shooting. The stock also features multiple sling attachment points and a detachable magazine well, which can accommodate both AR-style and M1A-style magazines.
In addition to the adjustable stock, the MVP Varmint 27729 also features a Picatinny rail for mounting optics. The rifle comes with a Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x44 riflescope, which is perfect for long-range shooting. The scope features a Dead-Hold BDC reticle, which allows the shooter to compensate for bullet drop at different ranges. The scope is also waterproof, fog proof, and shockproof, making it ideal for use in any weather conditions.
The MVP Varmint 27729 has a number of other features that make it an excellent choice for precision shooting. The rifle has a matte blued finish, which not only looks great but also helps to reduce glare. It also has a fluted bolt, which reduces weight and friction, and a spiral fluted bolt knob, which allows for easy operation even with gloves on.
In terms of performance, the MVP Varmint 27729 is a top-performing rifle. The rifle has a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee, meaning it is capable of shooting groups of less than one inch at 100 yards. The rifle is also very reliable and easy to maintain, thanks to its user-friendly design and high-quality construction.
If you're looking for a reliable and accurate rifle for varmint hunting or long-range shooting, the Mossberg MVP Varmint 27729 is an excellent choice. With its adjustable stock, high-quality scope, and top-notch performance, this rifle is sure to impress even the most discerning shooters.

My MVP Varmint is having FTF issue since day one, looks like the feed is too high and or too steep causing the cartridge to be pin by the bolt as it goes to the openning of the chamber. Any idea or help to rectify the issue is greaty appreciated.
