This guarantees exact positioning of the lock after every disassembly and assembly, and prevents wear and tear at the plug connecting barrel and receiver. * With the press of a button, six lugs lock the fore-end directly in the steel receiver. * The S 202 Take Down can be disassembled without tools to a length of 70 cm and re-assembled within seconds for immediate action. There are no tools to forget or lose, no screw that is eased or tightened too much - the rifle is reduced to simple perfection and that leads to successful hunting. * After assembly the point of impact remains 100 % consistent. There is no need for testfiring. * The unlimited flexibility of the S 202 Take Down allows for changing of barrels and calibres from 6,5x55 to .458 Lott. with a wide range of barrel lengths and contours. * Trigger, safety, sights, stock options and, of course, the perfect sliding of the bolt have been adopted from the proven SAUER 202. * All models are available as a left-hand version with respective barrel and system.
