About Henry Single Shot H015223
The centerfire single-shot rifle features a matte finish with a steel frame. It also features a 22" round barrel, with adjustable buckhorn and brass bead sights and is drilled/tapped for optional scope use. The stock is constructed of walnut, with a curved pistol grip wrist and solid rubber recoil pad. The action has no external manual safety; it uses a rebounding hammer that can't touch the firing pin unless the trigger's deliberately pulled, and an interlock system that doesn't allow the barrel to open if the hammer's cocked, or the barrel to close if the hammer's cocked while it's open. The furniture on this rifle is excellent. Some reviews stated the trigger needed improvement on pull. Mine is crisp and light. Its a coyote killing machine! Only regret is not buying one sooner!

The Henry (HO15223) is one sweet rifle, at a Good price. Well made wood and steel, none of that plastic stuff ! The trigger is stiff, but that can be work out. And it so much fun to shoot one shot at a time, try it !

Waited a year to finally find one - and at fair price. I have not shot yet but hey, it's a Henry! Great wood and feels "solid" in the hand. I ordered a scope to complement it. Recommend Henry for sure.

The fit and finish of this rifle is fantastic and the wood is gorgeous. Bud's shipped quickly and kept me informed of the steps in the process through out. Installed a Weaver 82 scope base and a set of Talley low mount rings holding a Weaver Classic 2-7x

Hi Anthony, TheTwist Rate is 1:9 and comes with extractor. Heavy bullets are fine through this. The receiver is drilled and tapped to accept Weaver 82 scope mounts (not included) and it comes with a fully adjustable folding leaf rear sight matched to a br
