About Hatfield SAS USA12W

The Hatfield USA Semiautomatic Shotgun's SAS operating system uses gas and inertia to cycle shots with minimal moving parts for maximum dependability. The gas piston moves only 1" to kick the bolt rearward and start the bolt's inertia through the operating cycle. The 28" barrel accepts 2-3/4" and 3" shells and features a full-length ventilated rib. The barrel and machined 7075-aluminum receiver boast high-gloss black anodizing for corrosion resistance. Walnut buttstock and forend with deluxe checkering. Fiber-optic sight. Includes three chokes (F, Mod and IC).

Detailed Review

The Hatfield SAS USA12W is a performance-driven shotgun that is designed to deliver consistent and accurate shots every time you pull the trigger. It boasts a range of features that make it stand out among other shotguns in its class.

One of the most notable features of the Hatfield SAS USA12W is its adjustable gas system. This allows you to fine-tune the gun's performance to your specific needs, whether you're shooting light target loads or heavy-duty hunting loads. The gas system also helps to reduce felt recoil, making it more comfortable to shoot for extended periods.

Another impressive feature of the Hatfield SAS USA12W is its chrome-lined barrel. This provides a superior level of corrosion resistance and durability, ensuring that the gun will last for years to come. Additionally, the barrel is threaded to accept choke tubes, allowing you to customize your shot pattern for different types of hunting or shooting situations.

The Hatfield SAS USA12W also features a synthetic stock and forend, which are both lightweight and durable. The stock is ergonomically designed for maximum comfort, and it features a soft rubber recoil pad to further reduce felt recoil. The forend is ribbed for a better grip, even in wet or slippery conditions.

The gun's receiver is made from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, which is both strong and lightweight. The receiver is also drilled and tapped for mounting a scope or other optical accessories, providing even more versatility to this already versatile shotgun.

In terms of overall design, the Hatfield SAS USA12W is sleek and modern, with a black matte finish that gives it a tactical look. Its compact size and light weight make it easy to handle and maneuver, whether you're hunting in the field or shooting on the range.

In conclusion, the Hatfield SAS USA12W is a high-quality shotgun that offers exceptional performance and versatility at an affordable price point. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or a beginner shooter, this gun is sure to impress.

Outstanding Features and workmanship

I recently bought the 2018 Hatfield SAS 12 gauge model. Like any other gun, it need to be shot a lot in order to get everything loosened up and broken in. It like the higher velocity shells the best..Over 1300 fps, but it will also handle the 1200 fps. Th

Best for the money

I bought this 12 gauge shotgun before dove season. Thought I would use as a backup to my Remington pump. Shot 3 boxes of shells on clays the week before the season. First boxes had a few jams and by the third box zero misfires. After the clays I was sold.

A poor man's Weatherby SA-80

I bought one of these in 20 gauge recently, the first semi-auto shotgun I've ever owned. It does require breaking in, and the loading process is a little finicky. I fired a bunch of slugs and high-brass, high-velocity (1300 fps) shells through it at
