Smith & Wesson 32 Regulation Police Target Model

This is one of only 196 target variations of the Pre-Model 31 revolver S&W manufactured around 1957. The accompanying factory letter lists this target revolver with a 4 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered walnut extension target grips, shipped April 30, 1958 to Van Camp Hardware & Sporting Goods Co., Indianapolis, IN. It also has standard S&W markings, matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, front grip strap, cylinder and barrel and matching assembly numbers on the yoke and crane. Comes with a factory blue box numbered to a different gun and with the correct end label for a Pre-Model 31 target revolver with 4 inch barrel.
