Manurhin PP Sport 22LR-8.25"
Walther and Manurhin developed a target version of the PP Short after WWII to compete with Hammerli. The Manurhin PP Sport model was made with a 6" or 8-3/8" barrel (optional), front sight on barrel (longer sight radius), high-quality adjustable rear sight, spur hammer, .22 long rifle & - rarely- .22 short. Despite it's unquestioned efficiency the pistol sold only in small numbers. Because of it's relative scarcity, the PP Sport is now highly regarded as a collector's item. In 1998 Manurhin was purchased by Chapuis Armes and they strated production of modern Manurhin revolvers.
