IMBEL 380 MD1A2N

This is the Brazilian make of the .45 M1911A1. The pistols are made in .45 ACP, 9mm Parabellum or .380 ACP (9mm Short). The first one for competition and export, the second is for use by the Brazilian Army (when it’s called M973) and police, the last is for personal security. The standard pistol is in all respects similar to the original Colt; the TP model uses special feature pieces to improve accuracy during practical competition shooting. The pistols from .380 MD1 series are blowback pistols firing the .380 ACP cartridge and use various components of the pistols M973 and M911 A1 but dispenses the breech locking system. The size is reduced, making it convenient to carry and handy in operation. In service with the Brazilian Army, Police and other military forces.
