Glock 28
The Glock 28 is a semi-automatic small-frame pistol chambered in .380 ACP. The G28 is the smaller version of the Glock 25, which was created specifically for South American civilians who aren’t allowed to carry military-caliber weapons. The .380 ACP isn’t much different from a 9mm except it has a shorter range and less stopping power. Yet, it is a popular round for concealed carry. The Glock 28 has standard Glock features such as a polymer grip that’s lightweight making it 1.5 pounds loaded. On the front of the grip are finger grooves and the sides have a rough texture that feels a bit like sandpaper. Its double-action trigger is also “safe-action” meaning the safety is on the trigger rather than the side. The only way a round can fire is if the shooter pulls the trigger because its internal design won’t allow the firing pin to punch forward any other way. This prevents accidental discharges if the pistol is dropped. Glocks have a simple, dependable and easy-to-use design, which is why they’re the preferred handgun for many law enforcement agencies. Glock recommends the Glock 28 for concealed carry.
