High Standard Model B

22 LR; 92% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, 6.75'' barrel, Manufactured in New Haven 1936-1942. Earlier variation with the type I-A takedown system, lever on the back left side of the frame and with a round retracting rod on the back of the slide. Original blue finish and checkered hard rubber grips without monograms. Complete with the original two-tone finish magazine. Original fixed front and rear sights. Complete with an original factory two piece black box with green labels. Condition: Very good overall. The metal finish shows sharp edge wear and a few scattered light handling scratches. Most of the finish loss in the back grip frame strap. There is some light spotting on the back of the slide and around the back right corner. Mechanically fine and clean internally with a bright sharp bore. The box is intact with old tape repair around three corners of the lid. The top label is 99%, the end label obscured by the tape. Also includes a small cotton string bag marked from the High Standard Mfg. Co with an extra 6.75 inch tapered barrel. The barrel appears to be a take off with the front sight blade removed. The bore is excellent.
