44 caliber, 6 shot cylinder, 7 1/2 inch part round, part octagonal barrel. Grips are of one piece walnut. These revolvers were serial numbered from about 1341 through about 8000, continuing the sequence from the Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon. This revolver is #7488 with every part matching except the wedge is #7579. This Colt is in very good working order.
