Weatherby Athena IV Shotgun

Introduced in 1989 and manufactured in Japan. Brass bead front sight, single selectable gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety. The receiver, side plates, trigger guard, forearm hardware and break lever have light floral scroll engraving with a gold crown on the break lever. Threaded for choke tubes with improved cylinder/modified installed and 3 inch chambers with ejectors. Mounted on a fancy checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a rosewood grip cap and a factory recoil pad. The length of pull is 14 1/8 inches. Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% of the original blue finish with a few light handling marks. The nickel is excellent with a couple of very light handling marks. The wood is excellent with some light handling marks and a small pressure ding on the left side of the forearm.
