Norinco Makarov pistol

Makarov pistol was designed by Nikolay Makarov in 1951 in Soviet Union when production started. Makarov pistol replaced Tokarev TT33 in Soviet Union police and army forces because of its' simplicity, low production costs and good stoping power. Because of its' qualities it was manufactured in Germany, Bulgaria and China. Makarov pistol is straight blowback action, frame-fixed barrel handgun effective up to 50 meters with muzzle velocity of 1,033 fps or 315 m/s. China start manufacturing Makarov pistol in 1959 with minor differences. Made from milled forgings and all the metal parts are salt blued. Importing of Norinco firearms in the US was banned in conjunction with 1993 and 2003 U.S. trade sanctions.
