Since its introduction the Ruger "New Vaquero" has dominated the cowboy action shooting world. Patented Ruger reverse indexing pawl allows easier loading and unloading while the beveled cylinder simplifies holstering. "New Vaqueros" are supplied either in stainless steel or "color case" finished frame with blued barrel, trigger guard and cylinder.
