Excam TA-38 Derringer
The Excam TA-38 Derringer is a single action derringer with 3 inch barrels. Made by Tanarmi in Gardone, V.T. Italy. The barrel breaks open upwards and has shell extractors. The left side of the barrel is marked “DERRINGER EXCAM HIALEAH FLA / MOD. TA 38 CAL., 38 SPL”. The left side of the frame is marked “D HC F ”. The right side of the barrel set is marked “DO NOT USE GUN UNTIL YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS / MANUAL AVAILABLE FROM: EXCAM-HIALEAH-FLA 33013”. The front sight is a blade which is formed onto the barrel. The rear sight is a small square notch on top of the barrel hinge.
