Reproduction based on the original 1911 blueprints. Series 70 firing system. Five inch barrel with wide hood. Smooth straight mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Manual thumb and grip safety. Tapered blade front sight. Finished in a polished royal blue on all surfaces. Forged knurled slide stop. Knurled thumb safety and magazine catch. Unique serial number format: 19110001. Smooth Cocobolo grips with 100th anniversary gold plated medallions. Slide is enhanced with scroll engraving and decorated with historic Colt symbols highlighted in 22kt gold.
