The ambidextrous, frame-mounted safety is easily manipulated by right and left-handed shooters. The combat trigger guard can be pressed against any hard surface for support during emergency, single-handed firing. The open slide design ensures positive extraction and ejection of spent cases in the most unforgiving conditions. The magazine release can be easily swapped for right or left-handed shooters. The grip tang is small enough not to hinder concealment, but designed to eliminate the possibility of the web of the hand being struck by the slide.
