475 Wildey Magnum
About The .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo is a semi-automatic cartridge for pistols designed to hunt down big games. The .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo was always intended to be a hunting cartridge and take down any big species easily. The parent case used to design this cartridge was the .284 Winchester Ammo, with the neck cut down and widened to allow .475 caliber Ammo while the length was kept the same. The .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo gained a lot of popularity thanks to its appearance in the movie Death Wish 3, where the Wildey handgun was a signature weapon. Later in the years, the .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo was necked down to create three calibers to achieve higher muzzle energy and velocities. The .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo has an overall length of 40.1mm, and the diameter of the bullet measures 12.1mm. The lightest variant of the .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo is the 250-grain bullet load which can travel at a velocity of 1,850 feet per second while creating an energy level of 1,900 ft. lbf. Manufacturer The .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo was based on the designs of the .284 Winchester Ammo and was designed in 1977 by Winchester Repeating Arms Company and manufactured in 1984 by Wildey Inc. Uses The .475 Wildey Magnum Ammo packs a massively powerful punch that can easily take down any big game species accurately. It is also a good choice to defend yourself against dangerous big animals.
