The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston

The VO Royal Collection United Arab Emirates Edition is an exclusive limited edition. No more than the 100 unique handmade rifles in this collection will ever be built. The rifle is ready for delivery, it is built in honour of and dedicated to H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Together with each rifle in the collection comes a book consists of 100 pages, each page presenting a rifle. Comes in a set with 2 barrels, one in 7mm Rem. Magnum, other in 416 Taylor. The stock is made by hand with straight classic VO design. European walnut root (airdried for at least 4 years). 24K gold is used for Engraving & Goldinlays. The VO rifles are all hand made by Mr Master Gunsmith Viggo Olsson and his son Gunsmith Ulf Olsson. Rifles are based on VO unique, world renown and patented takedown system, which allows the owner to use several different calibres to the same rifle. The takedown system is a natural choice for hunters that travel around the world visiting different hunting sites with different game.
