Rifles Descriptions
Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294
The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Traditions Vortek StrikerFire R569246WA
The innovative Traditions Vortek StrikerFire Northwest Magnum Muzzleloader has taken away the external hammer, and replaced it with an internal StrikerFire system for lighter weight, faster cocking and the ability to mount the scope closer to the bore. To cock the gun, simply push the striker button forward until it locks. Automatic decocking mechanism decocks gun when gun is opened. Exposed-nipple magnum-musket ignition system that uses musket caps meets state-specific legal requirements in Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Super lightweight at just 6.25 lbs., it's outfitted with adjustable Williams® fiber-optic sights. The rugged and reliable LT-1 alloy frame sports a durable and weather-resistant nitride-coated finish and is mated to an ultralight 28” chromoly tapered fluted barrel. Creep-free competition-style two-stage trigger is factory set at 2 lbs. A 1-in-28” rate of twist results in outstanding accuracy with modern projectiles. Hogue® Comfort-Grip overmolding on the Monte Carlo-style stock ensures a firm grip in any weather conditions. Stow-N-Go removable butt pad for storage inside the stock with the press of a button. Ambidextrous hammer extension. Solid aluminum ramrod with Quick-T ramrod handle functions as a palm saver and T-handle bullet starter. Accelerator breech plug is easily removed by hand. Soft-touch synthetic camouflage stock. Dual safety system. Drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
