Boasting a long barrel that allows longer burn time, Traditions' Vortek StrikerFire LDR (Long Distance Rifle) Muzzleloader delivers increased velocity, exceptional consistency and pinpoint downrange accuracy. Internal StrikerFire system reduces weight, speeds up cocking and provides the ability to mount a scope close to the bore. To cock the gun, simply push the StrikerFire button forward until it locks. Automatic decocking mechanism decocks gun when it is opened. Rugged, lightweight LT-1 alloy frame sports a durable, weather-resistant nitride-coated finish and is mated to a 30" chromoly tapered, fluted barrel. Creep-free, two-stage TAC2™ trigger is factory set at 2 lbs. A 1-in-28” rate of twist results in outstanding accuracy with modern projectiles. Hogue® Comfort-Grip overmolding on the Monte Carlo-style stock ensures a firm grip in any weather. Stow-N-Go removable butt pad for storage inside the stock. Ambidextrous hammer extension. Solid-aluminum ramrod with Quick-T™ handle reduces pressure on your palm and doubles as a bullet starter. Accelerator Breech Plug™ is easily removed by hand. Soft-touch synthetic camouflage stock. Dual-safety system. Speed Load System offers easy loading and consistent groups. Includes factory-installed and boresighted 3-9x40 scope with a duplex reticle, multicoated lenses, 3” eye relief, fast-focus eyepiece and 1/4-MOA windage and elevation adjustments. Comes with a soft-sided, padded gun case.
