The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston

The Pursuit LT Accelerator is a mid-level break action for those hunters or shooters looking for a full featured gun at a fraction of the cost. Its' 26" barrel comes equipped with a PAS system on all models for easier bullet loading and tighter groups. Nickel models come equipped with Nickel Guard for added rust protection. Tru-Glo fiber optic sights provide a clear sight picture even in low light conditions. The Pursuit LT Accelerator comes equipped with an Accelerator Breech Plug. This patent pending and award winning breech plug removes in three full rotations and requires no tools. This full featured gun is rounded out with an alloy frame that gives the gun a more lightweight feel and helps prevent rust. The Pursuit LT Accelerator has all the great features for a fraction of the cost. These features range from the easy to remove Accelerator Breech Plug, the protective Nickel Guard Coating and super lightweight LT-1 Alloy Frame. These are only naming a few of the great features that come standard on this gun. You ll truly get more bang for your buck. This particular model is available in .50 caliber and has a 26" barrel.
