The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Sako 85 Hunter Stainless Rifle JRS1H70
The Sako 85 Hunter Stainless features high-grade walnut stock and weather resistant stainless steel barreled action and metal parts. Loaded with Sako features like the legendary Sako accuracy, smooth bolt operation, and perfect balance, it is a delight to own and shoot. This Sako 85 model is a mix of classic warmth of wood and contemporary highlights. All metal parts are made of stainless steel or are specially coated to ensure excellent wear and corrosion resistance in different weather conditions. The ACTIONS continue to offer traditional SAKO features such as: action sizes matched to cartridges; mechanical ejection and integral tapered scope mount rail. Additionally there is a controlled feed on all models to ensure reliable cartridge feed to the chamber on all situations The MAGAZINE is detachable and it can also be loaded through the ejection port. Magazine release is prevented against accidental release The single-stage TRIGGER pull is adjustable from 1 kg to 2 kg (2 to 4 lbs). The SAFETY features a mechanism that allows loading and unloading of the rifle with safety engaged. Monte Calo type walnut STOCK is oilfinished and provided with red recoil pad, palm swell and traditional Sako-checkerings. Strong, extended recoil lug screwed on the fore-end. Integral rails for the scope mounts are on the top of the receiver. The totally free-floating BARREL is cold hammer-forged of stainless steel.
