The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Ruger M77 Hawkeye 17118
Newly designed, slimmer synthetic stock has wrap-around checkering on the foregrip. Stock also features an all-new red rubber recoil pad with the Ruger logo, designed to absorb the most punishing recoil. LC6 trigger delivers improved out-of-the-box trigger pull for increased accuracy on the range and in the field. Steel floor plate, with the Ruger Logo, has a patented floor plate latch for easy unloading without having to chamber each cartridge. Patented design eliminates accidental release or "dumping" of your ammunition. Features a Mauser-type controlled feed extractor for reliable performance and a 3-position safety that allows the bolt to be locked - or the rifle to be loaded and unloaded with the safety on. Free scope rings which mount on the integral scope bases, machined into each receiver, are included with every Ruger M77 Hawkeye rifle.
