The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston

The Predator HP .308 Winchester rifle by Rock River Arms is a varmint hunter's dream come true. This rifle's 20" barrel is masterfully built for high accuracy with a 1:10" twist. This bead-blasted cryogenically-treated stainless steel HBAR heavy barrel has both increased strength and hardness. The LAR-8 Predator HP features an A2 buttstock, flat top optic-ready upper and Hogue rubber pistol grip. The predator also has a free float handguard and a gas block with an integral Picatinny front sight rail to provide plenty of space for attachments. This rifle also has a forward assist with Rock River's excellent two-stage AR-15 trigger and an oversized winter trigger guard for gloved hands on cold weather hunts.
