The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston

The NEMO Arms 16" Centerfire Battle-Light Rifle advances your perceptions of the modern sporting rifle with its reliable shooting performance and unmistakable build quality. Well-conceived from heat-treated 4140 Ionbond-coated muzzle brake to the Magpul CTR mil-spec diameter carbine stock, the Battle-Light comes fully equipped to exceed all expectations. Ambidextrous controls and nickel-boron-coated bolt carrier group ensure lasting reliability. A 16" 416R stainless steel, bead blasted barrel has a 1:8 rate-of-twist rifling to give you a confidence when shooting a broad range of projectile weights. The tuned midlength gas system ensures a smooth shooting experience. The CMC flat-bow 3.5-lb.-pull trigger, Magpul MIAD® grip, and 7075-T6 six-position mil-spec carbine receiver extension boost your shooting confidence. Ambidextrous safety selector, 7075-T6 charging handle and magazine release ensure intuitive use for all shooters. NEMO upper and lower receiver set is crafted from 7076-T6 Cerakote™ Burnt Bronze billet. Carpenter 158 heat-treated, Cryo-finished, shot-peened MPI nickel-boron-coated bolt. 15" 6061 M-LOK™ modular rail features an internal diameter of 1.83" and steel QD mounts with limited rotation. Lightweight, heat dissipating 7075-T6 barrel nut. Carbine buffer and spring. Pinned low-profile gas block. Titanium through drilled takedown and pivot pins. Mil-spec forward assist. Includes Magpul 30-round Gen3 PMAG® magazine.
