Rifles Descriptions

Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294

The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston

Merkel Carpathian rifle

The single shot ‘Merkel’ with the legendary Jäger tilted block breech - conceived and patented in Suhl in 1906. This breech action is extremely rugged and long-lasting. Locking mechanism: Single lock hand-cocking system with an automatic safety device that, while opening, automatically de-cocks the gun. The lock is cocked only immediately before the shot by means of the easy-tooperate thumb slide and is then ready to be fired. Breech action: Receiver made of durable lightweight Dural with Jäger tilted block breech. Completely torque-free and extremely rugged. All single shot K1 and K2 rifles are equipped to accept the quick detachable SSM. Finely tuned adjustable trigger: The trigger weight can be adjusted using a small lever located on the trigger guard. The K2’s steel action and the octagonal barrel make for a wellbalanced rifl e that is a little heavier than the K1. The octagonal barrel is a distinctive feature of the K2 that emphasizes the traditional line of this ‘Carpathian rifle’.
