Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294
The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Merkel 96KS
Third barrel is shotgun barrel in same gauge! Technically speaking, Merkel sets its own high standards. A single cocking slide is all that is needed to control all of the functions on a Merkel Drilling. This ensures that handling is safe and easy. All Merkel Drillings are based on the 96K system. All types of interchangeable barrel confi gurations, such as Drilling, combination rifle/shotgun Drilling or double rifl e Drilling, can be fitted to the same receiver. Locking mechanism: Merkel system with Blitz locks and manual cocking for lower barrel. Safety and selector integrated in a three-position cocking slide. Breech: Steel action with Greener-style cross bolt and double conventional bottom bite. Long-lasting and solid. Trigger: Double trigger with front set trigger. Barrels: Confi gured as a short Drilling with a 21.65 inch barrel, the gun is particularly responsive, even in confined hunting stands. Barrel set: Stress relieved soldering results in excellent balance, low weight and a slender profile. Interchangeable barrels: Interchangeable barrels for optional combination rifl e/shotgun Drilling, Drilling or doublerifle Drilling, Scope mount. Standard drillings, Combination rifle/shotgun and double rifle Drilling includes provision for pivot mount as an option. Engraving: ‘Simple arabesque’ engraving is standard. Stock: Pistol grip, cheek piece and hogback comb. Half beaver tail option available for forearm.
