Rifles Descriptions

Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294

The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston

Izhmash Nikinov assault rifle AN-94

The Nikinov assault rifle AN-94 is a weapon of the new generation. It is superior to all known models by 1.5 times as to combat effectiveness, due to the essential improvement of automatic fire accuracy from unstable (standard) positions. High results of firing are ensured by the use of the blowback shifted pulse. The assault rifle makes it possible to deliver single fire, a fixed two-shot burst (1,800 RPM), and fully automatic variable fire (1,800 and 600 RPM). The folding buttstock makes the assault rifle convenient for handling on march, landing and transporting. The assault rifle is designed with bayonet mounting lugs and the under-barrel-grenade launcher GP-25. The assault rifle can be easily accommodated into the firing ports of various combat vehicles (BMP, BMD and helicopters). The assault rifle may be complete with a detachable night optical sight, as well as with tritium dotts for firing in the twilight. Chief designer was Gennadiy Nikonov. AN-94 is able to delay the recoil force of first shot until second shot is fired and bullet left the barrel. That should make second shot much more precise than in other rifles. AN-94 uses rotating bolt to lock the action.
