The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Howa M1500 HGR63102
The duo that started it all the Howa barreled action and the Hogue Overmolded rifle stock. Now, this configuration is the backbone of the Howa rifle line in 2010. Howa M-1500 rifles are well known in the shooting community for their accuracy and ability to hold up under the toughest of conditions. Add to that the Hogue Overmolded stock features a comfortable, soft grip to reduce shooting fatigue and still provides a positive grip surface in all weather conditions. The Hogue stock will not harden with age, and is impervious to gun solvents and gun oils. It is built with a fiberglass reinforced skeleton and pillar bedding for strength and accuracy, allowing the barrel to free-float. The stock also has a varminter style forend, built-in swivel studs and a famous Hogue recoil pad.
