The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Diamondback Firearms DB15 Pistol DB15PTG7
Diamondback Firearms' line of DB15 Pistols made entirely in the USA, starting with the tried-and-true, U.S. Military-proven gas-impingement system and using only the highest quality components machined in Diamondback's CNC facility. The DB15 Pistol raises the bar when it comes to features and performance. From the modified Diamondback aluminum four-rail handguard, to a variety of color options, the Diamondback DB15 Pistol represents value and versatility all at a very affordable price. The bolt carrier is shot-peened, magnetic particle inspected Mil-Spec 8620 carrier. The receiver is forged 7075 T6 aluminum with a T-Marked A3 flattop. It has a 4140 chrome-moly barrel, Diamondback aluminum modified 4-rail handguard and a black A2-style pistol grip. The DB15 Pistol is chambered in 223 Remington/5.56 NATO with a 7.5" barrel. This model has a Tactical Gray receiver and handguard.
