The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston

Mk47 Mutant 7.62x39 Magpul/Geissle 30rd Description Mk47 AKM2 sits at the top of the MUTANT lineup offering the most features including the Geissele SSA trigger. The crisp two stage trigger helps to wring out all the available accuracy to increase the effective range of the platform. The Mk47 AKM 2 features all new mid-sized receivers based on our Mk3 platform carved from billet 7075-T6 aluminum. The Mk47 AKM 2 was designed to harnesses the power and reliability of the 7.62x39 cartridge utilizing a robust bolt also based off our Mk3. The unique Mk47 lower receiver readily accepts all standard AK Magazines. Every rifle comes equipped with a MOE pistol grip, CTR butt stock, SV muzzle brake, 30rd AK PMAG, Geissele SSA trigger.
