The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Chiappa Firearms Mini Sharps 920188
With years of experience of remanufacturing the original 1874 Sharps design, Chiappa Firearms has been building one of the best reproductions of the 1874 Sharps available today. Expect nothing less when you consider the smaller version of the Chiappa Sharps to add to your collection of fine arms! This elegant, small frame version of the 1874 Sharps dropping block action has been reduced in size by 20% while the weight is about a half of the original rifle. It has a case colored receiver and a two piece, straight grip walnut stock with a steel butt plate. The octagon barrel has a blue finish and is complete with tang sights. Available in a vast range of calibres, Mini Sharps has an outstanding versatility which makes it the perfect rifle for target shooting, hunting, for Cowboy Action Shooting long range competition.
