Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. This 12 gauge, SXP Buck/Bird pump action combo has a composite matte black stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad with a hard heel insert for snag-free mounting. It has a matte black aluminum alloy receiver and hard chrome-plated 3" chamber and bore. The vent rib field barrel has a brass bead front sight and three Invector-Plus choke tubes (F,M,IC). The 22" fully rifled deer barrel comes with TruGlo sights. The matte black chrome finish on both back-bored barrels is better than conventional bluing, with parts that are easier to clean and stay cleaner, standing up to years of wear. The Super X design provides the fastest follow-up shots with an inertia-assisted slide-action that can deliver three shots in a half second.
