Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The Super X3 is a durable, robust, dawn-to-dusk workaholic shotgun. The SX3 Composite Sporting model has a compostite stock, grip and forearm with slimmer dimensions for a lighter, more controlled feel, even with gloves. Contributing to the feeling of lightness is an ultralight alloy magazine tube and recoil spring system that removes a half pound of weight. The lightweight ported barrel further reduces weight with a narrow profile and a machined rib. Inside the barrel you'll find .742" Back-Bored Technology for the ideal combination of shot uniformity and velocity. The self-adjusting Active Valve ensures speed, recoil reduction and durability in all conditions. It has a Truglo fiber optic front sight, Briley red magazine cap and weight system, oversized Briley red operating handle, oversized Briley red magazine release button, and a red molded ABS case. It comes with five Signature Invector-Plus choke tubes (LF,IM,M,IC,SK).
