Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The model 900D series over/under shotguns were designed with that little "extra" that the discriminating shooter demands. The 912D incorporates all of the design characteristics of the model 912K. This 12 bore box lock designed gun features gated barrel selectors, heavy duty hammer springs, a molybdenum-chrome steel CNC machined receiver, exquisitely jeweled mono-bloc walls, manual safety, chrome-lined barrels, automatic ejectors, fiber optic front sight pin, oil-finished select Turkish walnut stock and fore grip, steel shot-proofed 3" chamber and comes complete with five chokes (C, IC, M, IM, F). The receiver has a silver matte finish and showcases hand engraving over a majority of the action. Like the model 912K, the 912D also comes complete with a high quality fleece lined, locking, presentation case with brass accents.
