Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. Weatherby Athena IV Shotgun
Introduced in 1989 and manufactured in Japan. Brass bead front sight, single selectable gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety. The receiver, side plates, trigger guard, forearm hardware and break lever have light floral scroll engraving with a gold crown on the break lever. Threaded for choke tubes with improved cylinder/modified installed and 3 inch chambers with ejectors. Mounted on a fancy checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a rosewood grip cap and a factory recoil pad. The length of pull is 14 1/8 inches. Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% of the original blue finish with a few light handling marks. The nickel is excellent with a couple of very light handling marks. The wood is excellent with some light handling marks and a small pressure ding on the left side of the forearm.
